How to plan
Planning in Uniconta is an advanced way to view and correct budgeted items. Planning is based on our Pivot table screen, so it is possible to drag and drop fields to view different reports at different levels. There is also a drill-down function via double-clicking on the number fields.
When the screen opens and the period is selected, an overview of employees is shown. This setup can be changed. If employee time is the most important parameter in the company, this view is recommended. Other views can be found under Layout. Read more about "Pivot tables" here.
If you want the budget to be shown per week, check "Show week". Please note that the "Copy budget" function does not support copying on a weekly basis. Read more here.
Budgets on a weekly basis:
It is also possible to compare budgets, norm times and others with previous year's figures. To be able to use previous year's figures, the [Show realized previous year] field must be checked. Then press [Search]. The options for the previous year's figures are then displayed. The Work area and Task fields can also be added to the Planning screen
To get started quickly, realized figures can be copied to budget. Read more about copying records and updating prices here.
If you want to change an employee's planned hours. For example, if an employee who is overbooked needs to submit some tasks, double-click on Budget number next to the period and employee. Only budgets can be changed in Planning.
The records that form the basis of the total quantity sum are now displayed.
Now individual lines can be corrected or new ones can be added, and existing ones can be deleted. After the changes have been made, press Save. The [Pivot Table] overview can now be updated with the changes. This means that if another employee is to take over one or more tasks, enter their employee number in the field and press save.
It is possible to view more fields to work with by right-clicking in the gray area.
These fields can be dragged onto the field list.
The anchor budget can also be retrieved via the field list. The anchor budget is saved via Budget. Read more here.
Version-91 You can choose whether to include anchor budgets in the PivotTable. If anchor budgets are included and only realized items are to be shown against budgets, this can result in "0 lines" if anchor budgets are selected.
Tasks and workspaces can be selected in planning.
Double-clicking on the Grant total next to an employee will show all budget items for all months. If you then group on the date field and change group interval to month, you can get this view.
Shown here is the employee's resignation date.
This report shows project fees by department, project and month.
