Access to your customers' bank records.
Below are instructions on how to easily connect to your accounting customers' bank with Uniconta and Mastercard Open Banking (formerly Aiia).
Establishing a connection
The connection is created under Bank reconciliation. At least one bank account must be created in the bank reconciliation.

Tap on the 'Connect to bank' menu item
Note: The Mastervard Open Banking connection is not created specifically for the bank account that is active. The connection is made to the Uniconta accounts and the bank accounts you choose to share with Uniconta. Read more in the section 'Registering bank accounts in Uniconta' about how the bank transactions from Mastercard Open Banking are connected to bank accounts in Uniconta.
If you need the customer to make the connection to the bank themselves, you can do this by sending the URL to the customer.
You can find the URL under Tools and 'Show registered bank accounts':

In the image below, a URL is created and copied and sent to the customer.

We have made a draft of the email you can send to the customer:
Dear customer
We would like to create a secure connection to your bank with Mastercard Open Banking so we can securely transfer entries from your bank to your customer account (insert account name) in our accounting system Uniconta.
This must be authenticated with your MitID using the following procedure:
- Click on this link: Insert link from "Service info"
- In the Mastercard Open Banking screen, click "Continue"
- Search for your bank and select it
- Select "MyID" login and authorize
- Select account(s) from the list to access in your customer accounts and click "Continue"
- Click "Accept" to approve the selected account(s)
- Enter your email address and click "Continue"
- You will now receive an email with a one-time code to enter. Then click "Continue"
- Click "Finish"
The connection from your bank to your customer accounts in Uniconta is now established.
Please note that the connection needs to be renewed approximately every 3 months for security reasons. We will contact you when reconnection is needed.

Once the customer has completed the above, a connection to the bank is established in the desired account.
