Posting with numbers in the cash drawer
When working with quantities, it can be advantageous to think of registering quantities as items in an inventory. In other words, when a purchase is made, a quantity is added to stock. This is paid in the bank, but does not affect operations.
Here is an example of buying 50 animals that are included in the "inventory" on account 5312.

We recommend creating templates for purchases and sales to ensure account assignment. Here is an example of a purchase template.

When animals are sold, a cost of goods sold from the warehouse, a cost of goods sold and a revenue in operations must be taken.
This can be done in the following way.

We recommend creating templates for purchases and sales to ensure account assignment. Here is an example of a sales template.

In total, this gives the following entries for purchases and sales

The balance for purchases and sales is as follows.

When creating primo, the correct primo will now be created on account 5312. Only primo is created on status accounts.
Posting quantities in financial items via the order modules
If you use quantity in the financial records, the quantity from the purchase and sales order is registered in the financial records.
In addition, you can create an item, e.g. pork, for which you need to create an item group that handles the correct account assignment.
To get the same coding as in the example above, an item group would look like this:

This item group must be selected on the item "Pigs" and any other animal herds that you want to account for in this way.
