If you have chosen to start fresh in Uniconta and want to open with a Primo balance, follow the instructions below.
Step 1.
First you need to create a user

Step 2.
Then you need to create an account

Choose your chart of accounts carefully. If there are missing accounts in the plan, these can easily be created after the accounts have been created.
Remember to choose in which year you want to start your accounting. If you want to include the previous year's operations for comparison, select the previous year. If you only want to enter primary figures, simply select the current year.
Step 3.
Before you can start posting in the new Uniconta accounting, you must either post the results from the previous year (e.g. 31/12) or the current year (e.g. 1/1)
Select Finance/Accounting
Here you can choose to use an already created draft, or you can create a new draft to use for posting the primary total/previous year's result.
To create a new draft, click Add draft or F2
If you choose to create a new draft, you should create a new document number series under Finance/Maintenance/Document number series

If you select the last day of the previous financial year, for example 31/12-XX, you must do the following:
Select User and System date in the right corner.
Set the system date to 31/12 previous year.
Select the draft you want to post in and click on draft lines.
Enter the results from the previous year, as of 31/12 in the draft
(Amount you find from your balance sheet from your previous accounting program)
Please note that Profit for the period after tax should NOT be transferred.
If the Difference is zero (0.00) then the draft is correct.
Click on Check draft
If the draft is checked with an OK, you can click Post draft
By entering a draft, you have the opportunity to do a simulation before the final posting. If you are unsure how the posting will turn out, it's a good idea to simulate the first few times you post.
Remember to remove the notch in Simulation when finalizing the posting.
Remember to remove the system date again by selecting User and System date field and Clear in the displayed calendar.
Start your new year
To start the first year, select Finance/Maintenance/Fiscal year
Click Add fiscal year and create the current year. Set the Period status to Active and Save
