Creating many sales orders with associated order lines.
If you receive an Excel file or CSV file with customer number, order number and total price, these can be created in Sales Order without having to enter everything manually.
All it requires is a little data manipulation in an Excel sheet.
The example below shows how we make use of:
You can now choose to create each order manually and spend many hours on this, or gather the relevant data in a new Excel sheet and copy this data directly into Uniconta.
Order groups
In our example, we use groups, which in Uniconta we call Order Groups.
Go to Accounts Receivable/Maintenance/Customer groups and create your groups. Here we create Decoder and TV
Note: It is the "Number" in order groups that are used in the sales orderer, so if you enter "01", "02", "03" these are the ones to use, or as in the example "Decoder" and "TV"
Sales order header
In the example, there are a limited number of fields, account number, order number, created and group. If you want to use more fields, just make sure that the headings in the Excel sheet are the same as in Uniconta.
Subscription: If you want to create subscriptions, you must use the fields "Delete complete invoiced order lines" and "Delete order after invoicing". These must be set with the value "False".
Create an excel sheet containing your sales order information.
With the headings: (see example below)
Go to Accounts Receivable/Sales/Sales Order, select the "Edit All" tab and then the "Edit All" button
Go to your Excel sheet and select all your data, copy (Ctrl+C) and go to the Sales Order image and select "Paste from Excel"
Click the Save button and you have now created your sales orders.
Create sales order lines in a sales draft
The original excel sheet needs to be adjusted so that you have the following information:
Go to Accounts receivable/Sales/Sales draft.
Go to your customized Excel sheet and select your data, copy (Ctrl+C) and go to the pasteboard image, select "Paste from Excel"
Click the Save button and you have now created your order lines on your sales orders.
To invoice all these orders, you can now go to Accounts receivable/Sales/Mass update. If all orders are to be invoiced,
click the "Generate invoices" button. If it's only some of them, select which ones to invoice before
clicking the "Generate invoices" button. Only the ones shown on the screen will be invoiced.
