Note: The following is a service from Uniconta. We teach and do not support forwarding from a 3rd party mail program.
If you cannot get the following to work, please contact your reseller.
Note: Forward as attached does not work. It attaches the email itself, not the original attachment.
This does NOT work for Uniconta. You always receive the file as an UNK file.
Note: If you receive an UNK file in your inbox and have set up a contact person in your Outlook, the error may be in the contact person. Try creating a new contact, but scan [number]@uniconta-inbox.dk and test if it works. If it works, delete the old contact and use the new one.
When sending mail from your own mail system to a physical inbox, you may, in rare cases, experience that the submitted files are given the type "UNK".
This applies primarily if you use a Microsoft product.
This can be solved by changing the settings in Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Office 365.
Microsoft Exchange
How to do it
Open "Outlook" on your computer.
Tap the "File" menu in the top left corner of the screen.
Now it is expected that there will be no errors due to files with type "UNK"
Microsoft Office 365
In Office 365, you need to change the server setup via the settings in the Office 365 solution. Please contact your Microsoft Office 365 administrator to resolve the issue. The administrator cannot be Uniconta A/S. It is probably someone working in your IT department or an external provider.
How to do it
Open "Admin center"
Tap the "Administration" item in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Select the "Exchange" submenu

Tap the "Settings" item in the menu on the left of the screen.
Tap the "Mail" option in the top left corner of the "Outlook settings" window.

Scroll to the bottom of the page using the vertical scroll bar on the right.
Make sure that the dropdown next to "When sending messages in RTF format to Internet recipients:" is set to "Convert to HTML Format" or "Convert to HTML format".
Tap "OK" to save your changes

Tap "Remote domains" under the "Mailflow" heading on the right side of the screen.

Tap the "Permissions" item in the menu on the left side of the screen

In the list of remote domains, tap the + icon in the top left corner
Enter the following information:
*Name: uniconta-inbox.dk
*.uniconta-inbox.dk remote domain: *.uniconta-inbox.com
Put a "Dot" in the "Never" field in the "Use RTF format:" section
It is now expected that you can send correctly to the inbox in Uniconta.
