To post and offset a payment on a debtor, proceed as described below.
You may choose to create a special draft for debtor payments, but this is not necessary.

Payment from debtor
- Select Finance/Accounting and select the draft you want to use for posting debtor payments. For example, daily draft. Open the draft lines using the Draft lines button or by double-clicking on the draft name.

- Fill in the Account type field with Debtor and in the Account field select the debtor who paid.
- Fill in the Counter account type field with Finance and Counter account with the bank account or cash box where the money was received.
- Press F8 to view the invoices posted to the customer that have not yet been settled.
- Select the invoices that have been paid, either with the mouse or by pressing the space bar in the first field so that a check mark appears here

- Press Enter or select the Generate button to jump back to the draft.
- The amount marked is now transferred to the draft. If the amount does not match the amount received, the amount is corrected manually in the draft.
- Post the draft to book the payment and offset the open invoices on the debtor.
