A watermark is a graphic placed in the center of your invoice. A good idea is to make the watermark in light colors, so you can see the text being written. If necessary, contact a graphic designer for help with this.
A watermark can be a small logo or a full page on the invoice, with a logo at the top and address at the bottom.

If in doubt, contact a graphic designer for advice on graphic resolution.

Watermark structure
If you have a resolution of 72dpi (that's for the screen) your graphic/image needs to be 595x842 pixels to fill an A4. 72dpi = 595 x 842 pixels 96dpi = 793 x 1122 pixels 150dpi = 1240 x 1754 pixels 300dpi = 2480 x 3508 pixels The calculation is therefore dpi/2.54 * 29.7 dpi/2.54 * 21.0 If you create your watermark with Paint, your default DPI is 96 and you need to create a watermark with a maximum size of 793 x 1122 pixels 150dpi is for a regular print/draft, whereas if you want it to look really nice in print, your graphic/image should be 300dpi. If you're just sending as an email, you should be fine with 150dpi, as the customer may print out your invoice for bookkeeping.Create a watermark in Paint
