The count list can be used to count the stock. The count list shows the physical stock, i.e. the items received on a purchase order and delivered on a sales order are included in the stock shown.
The count list opens under Lager/Reports/Count List and the stock level is shown in the In stock field.
In the Total field, enter the counted quantity from the warehouse. When you have finished entering, the system will automatically calculate what needs to be adjusted in the Difference field. To post these differences, select the Transfer to draft button and select the stock draft to be used for posting. The difference is then transferred to this stock draft where it can be posted.
Select the Show batch/serial no. button to view the batch and serial number for each item. These are displayed in a separate column.

Important for the count list
Note! In the chart of accounts, a system account must be set up for Loss/Win or accounts for Loss/Win must be specified on the item groups for the count to be posted correctly. Note! The count list can only be used by one user at a time. We recommend that one user enters all information and posts it before any other user enters their counted items. If several users use the count list at the same time, we recommend that they each use their own stock draft to post their count. It is also possible to export the list to Excel and count the stock from this list. After counting, the list can be imported and the difference posted.Export and import counted goods
If you want a list to count your items, you can export the count list by selecting the Export button on the ribbon. A CSV file is exported, which you can open in Excel, and in the Count column you can enter the counted number. When all items have been counted, you save this file and it can be imported into the count list by selecting the Import button on the ribbon. Note! If you have leading zeros in your item numbers, you need to import your CSV to Excel and make sure that the item number column is text to preserve these leading zeros.Example of inventory counting
On 12/21/22, a count list is created showing an inventory of 10 pieces of item X. This is exported to be used for counting. On 12/21/22, the warehouse staff counts the inventory in the warehouse. While this is being done, no purchases/sales can be posted. The staff counts 9 pieces of item X. On 12/22/22, purchases and sales are again posted in Uniconta and a sale of 3 pieces and a purchase of 5 pieces of item X are posted. On 12/23/22, the warehouse manager imports the count list created on 12/21/22, which showed 10 pieces. of item X and subsequently he enters, among other things, 9 pieces of item X in the Total field corresponding to the number counted by the warehouse staff, and he posts a stock adjustment of -1 piece. Subsequently, the warehouse manager extracts a stock status list, and it now shows that the inventory of item X = 11 pieces, corresponding to the 9 items counted on 12/21 - 3 items sold on 12/22 + 5 items purchased on 12/22 22/12 Note! If the warehouse manager had not started importing the stock count list created on 12/23/22, the stock count list would have shown an inventory of 12 items, and entering the 9 items as counted would have created a stock adjustment of -3 items instead of the correct -1 items.Inventory counting video
In the video below you can see how to use the inventory count report, among other things: https://www.uniconta.com/da/video/generelt/aarsskifte-i-uniconta/ Note! It is not recommended to post purchases/sales of goods from the time the inventory count list is created/printed until the inventory is counted. When the warehouse staff has counted the inventory, purchases/sales of goods can be posted while the counted inventory is imported/entered in the count list and the adjustments are posted. However, this requires that the count list has been exported and that the count list is imported to the count list in Uniconta regardless of whether the counted stock is thereby imported or subsequently entered manually in the field Counted. See the example regarding stock counting above.EAN number on the count list
The count list also contains the EAN number. If you select it from the field list on the count list, this field is empty. It can be filled in from a scanner or entered manually and is used when ordering goods. However, if you want it to be the existing EAN number created on the product card, you can add this via Layout/Other fields on the tape.Counting from e.g. scanner
When counting from a scanner, you rarely have more fields than item number and quantity. In this case, you can use the Update counted menu item, which will update the item number with quantity. As a minimum, this import must contain Item number and Count. Update counted does not work with batch/serial numbers, nor with variants. However, it works fine with stock locations and locations. The file you import must be given the correct headers in order to be imported into the correct columns.Count list setup - without inventory management
The setup is made under Lager/Reports/Census list.Right-click on the 'In stock' field and select 'Assign new field value'.

On the pop-up window, switch from 'Value' to 'Script'. In 'Add fields' select 'InvItem (Uniconta.ClientTools.DataModel.InvItemClient)', click the horizontal arrow. In the 'Script' field it should say 'rec.InvItem', add '.Qty' so that it says 'rec.InvItem.Qty'. Finally, press 'OK'.
