If you use e-conomic, we offer a free conversion tool that ensures easy and secure data transfer to Uniconta.
It is possible to export from the following e-economic: Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the English version.
A
multi-export must be made in e-conomic.
The conversion tool reads data from multi-export files and loads it into Uniconta.

Note: REMEMBER THAT A USER MUST BE CREATED IN UNICONTA FOR A CONVERSION TO BE MADE.
Note: If you have one or more unposted drafts in e-conomic with physical attachments attached, these attachments will not be imported into Uniconta. Post the draft before importing to Uniconta, and the physical attachments will be imported when you run
Export physical attachments from e-conomic.
This can be done here:

Export data from e-conomic
Select Export data from e-conomics. This function can export all registered data in e-conomic. You must choose to have your accounting data emailed as comma-separated text files (An unencrypted file in text format that a database table can load)

Fill in the fields above and click Submit data.
Export department and department name
If you use departments in e-conomic, this file must be exported separately. This is done by opening the department view. Here the department and department name can be exported by saving in the CSV file format and file name:
DepartmentDivision.csv
The
DepartmentDistribution.csv file must be loaded separately.
Split compartment
When converting from e-conomic, we now also support Split Department. This is a feature in e-conomic that splits an entry from one department into several departments. However, it only does this during reporting, and if you change the distribution, it is done backwards in time. When converting, we therefore create this split so that we create the same picture in Uniconta as you had in e-conomic.
You then have to create new distribution accounts in Uniconta for the dimensions you want to split out. We do not include the split mask, as Uniconta has a different way of making distributions. Our split takes place at account level, while in e-conomic it takes place by creating a "department", which in itself is not a department, but a department that splits.

VAT on invoices
As the VAT code used in E-conomic does not appear anywhere in the export, neither on the debtor, invoice or invoice lines, the invoice lines and invoices are stamped after conversion to Uniconta with the first VAT code from the VAT table, which has the rate that matches the VAT amount and which is of type output VAT and does not have a counter account.
After version 90 of Uniconta, the conversion tool will instead use the VAT code U25 if the VAT rate matches.
