It is possible to retrieve your saved layouts via the main menu.
Here the filtering is set to employee #3
We save the layout by selecting the Layout menu item and Save layout

Fill in the fields:
This layout can also be called from a menu item, in the same way as shown in the example above.
Create a layout
Below is an example of how to save a sales order layout filtered on a single employee and display it as a menu in the main menu under Finances. Here you can see the sales orders with the employees.

Call the layout from the main menu
Now we have saved a layout and we need to create a menu that calls this layout. Go to Tools/Menus/Main menu

- Caption, but the name that the menu item should appear with
- ControlType, select Shape, as this is a shape we want to display
- Control, select DebtorOrders, the control (form) that we have saved our layout in. Note: If you do not know the control name, you can stand on the control/form and press F12 to get the name of the control
- The default line number is 1, if you want to place your menu further down in the menu structure, enter a different number
- Arguments, here we write Layout=[the saved name for the layout] in our example Layout=SalesOrderEmployee_3

Layout with filter from the menu
It is possible to save a layout with a filter generated from Filter in the menu.
