Note: Serial numbers must be created before a sale.
A serial number applies to a single item. For example, a cell phone.
When using Principle 1a, you can only have one sales order line per serial number.
Using Principle 1b, you can have a sales order line with the number>1 and link the same number of serial numbers.
Principle 1b is described here
Create a sales order by going to Accounts receivable/Sales/Sales order
Add an order with F2 or click Add in the ribbon.
Select account and debtor information is retrieved and can now be changed as needed.
Click Save & go to lines to enter the items you want to sell.
On the order lines, you must match the item with one of the batch/serial numbers that are in stock. If you don't, you will get the following error.

Click Save and close the tab.
When invoicing a sales invoice, you can see that the serial number is printed.
Go to Lager/Items and select the item sold
Click Batch/serial numbers in the ribbon.
The sale is now registered on the lines.
Clicking Open displays the batch/serial numbers that are open.
Clicking All will display all the batch/serial numbers created in the list.
Click on Entries to see an overview of the entries that have been made on the selected serial number
