The debtor window provides a structured overview of your debtors (customers) and from the overview you can select the Edit button and change one debtor at a time, but you can also select the Edit all tab, the Edit all button and change your debtors' information directly in the overview.

You create a debtor, i.e. a new customer in your customer directory like this:- Select Debtor/Debitor
- Select the Add/Add button on the ribbon
- Fill in the required information and select the Save button to save the information about your new debtor (customer). See a description of the individual fields below.

CVR no. | The debtor's CVR number. An automatic lookup is made in the CVR register when entering CVR numbers. It is recommended to create one debtor per CVR number. I.e. it is not recommended to use a "miscellaneous debtor" in connection with invoicing, especially when invoicing debtors in the EU/abroad. Language | Choose from 26 different languages in the drop-down menu. NOTE! If language is set to 'Default', the system selects the language based on the country the customer is set up with. The language selected here determines the language in which various documents are generated for the customer. |
Phone number | The debtor's phone number. |
Contact person | Enter the name of a contact person for the debtor if necessary. Multiple contact persons can be created for each debtor from the debtor overview. Read more here. |
Email to contact person | Enter the email address of the contact person if necessary. Multiple contact persons can be created for each debtor from the debtor overview. Read more about contact persons here. If the field is filled in and the envelope icon is clicked, the Outlook email client opens and the email address is transferred so you can write an email to the contact person. |

Blocked | Check the box if the debtor should be blocked. When a debtor is blocked, no postings can be made to the debtor. The field can also be used as a delimiter for various reports. If the debtor is blocked, it will not appear in the following locations: Accounting journal under account/counter account. |
Group of products | |
Group of products | Select the debtor group the customer should be assigned to. If the field is not filled in when creating the debtor, the debtor will automatically be assigned to the debtor group that is selected by default. Read more about debtor groups here. |
Payment format | Here you can select a payment format for the debtor if the debtor is to be charged via e.g. supplier service or payment service. This requires that payment formats have been created under Debtor/Maintenance/Payment method file formats and that autobanking is enabled under Company/Maintenance/Turn functions on/off. Read more about payment formats here. |
Payment options | Select the payment term to be used on the debtor. If none is selected when creating the debtor, the debtor will automatically be assigned to the payment term that is selected by default. Read more about payment terms here. |
Final discount % | If you want the debtor to receive a final discount, you can enter a fixed discount percentage here. |
Line discount % | Line discount % is suggested on order lines. |
Credit limit | Enter a desired credit maximum for the debtor, if desired. Creditmax is in the debtor's currency.
Credit max is checked when sending order confirmation, delivery note and invoice.
At order confirmation and delivery note, you must 'update stock' for credit max to be checked.
The 'Update Lager' field appears on the order confirmation box when 'Orders/Failsheet' is enabled under ' Company/Maintenance/Turn features on and off'.
The 'Update stock' field appears on the delivery note box when 'Stock management' is enabled under'Company / Maintenance / Turn features on and off'.

Balance | The balance field is shown in the overview and is calculated on outstanding invoices. The balance field is displayed in the company currency. |
Employee | Associate an employee/salesperson to the debtor. If the individual employee in the employee file is linked to a Uniconta login, this field will automatically be filled in with the name of the employee who is linked to the Uniconta user who creates the debtor. Read more about employees here. |
Mom zone | For example, select whether the debtor belongs to the domestic VAT zone or EU member state, etc. If this field is filled in, it is not necessary to fill in the VAT field if the VAT code to be used for customers in the different VAT zones is specified on the debtor and/or product groups. Read more about the debtor groups here. |
Moms | If necessary, fill in the field with a VAT code. It is not necessary to fill in the VAT field if the VAT zone field is filled in. Read more under the description of the VAT zone field above. |
VAT operation | The field is only visible if the Use VAT operations field is checked under Company/Company information. However, this field is usually only checked if your company is located in a country other than Denmark. |
Currency | Select the currency to invoice in etc. for the current debtor. |
Account type | The field is filled by default with 'Bank account'. Must be changed to 'IBAN' if using SEPA. Read more about SEPA here. |
Bank account | Some banks can display the account number or IBAN number from which the payment was made. Depending on the selection in the Account type field, the account number or IBAN number of the debtor is entered here. IBAN must be entered if SEPA is used. Read more about SEPA here. If this field is filled in, Uniconta can automatically find the debtor if this information is included in the bank statement imported to Uniconta, e.g. during bank reconciliation. Read more about importing bank statements from banks here. |
SWIFT | To be filled in with the debtor's SWIFT number. This field must be filled in if SEPA is used. Read more about SEPA here. |
Creditor reference | To be filled in with creditor reference. The field is used in connection with SEPA. Read more about SEPA here. |
SE number | Enter the debtor's SE number if applicable |
Creditor | If the debtor and creditor have been merged, the creditor merged with this debtor can be seen in this field. |
EORI | Enter the customer's EORI number if the customer is a UK company. |
Created | Shows when the debtor was created. The field can be manually filled in/changed. When converting from e.g. C5, e-conomic etc., the creation date is stamped with the date of the oldest existing record. The field was introduced in 2020 and in connection with this, a run was made that filled the field with the date of the oldest entry. |
CRM | The field group only appears if the CRM field is checked under Company/Maintenance/Turn features on/off. |
CRM group | If necessary, link the debtor to a CRM group. Read more about CRM groups here. The field only appears if the CRM field is checked under Company/Maintenance/Turn functions on/off. |
Interests | If necessary, link the debtor to a CRM interest. Read more about CRM interests here. The field only appears if the CRM field is checked under Company/Maintenance/Turn functions on/off. |

Invoice | |
Email to invoice | Email address for your debtor e.g. info@uniconta. com If multiple email addresses are used for the debtor, you can enter ";" between the email addresses in this field. Alternatively, you can define multiple email addresses for the debtor under the Contacts button in the debtor overview. Read more about contacts here. If this field is left empty, but instead you have entered the email addresses of one or more contact persons and defined that they should receive e.g. invoices, the Send email field must be checked, otherwise it will not be possible to select Send as email when posting an invoice to the customer. posting an invoice to the debtor. However, you can always select Send via Outlook. |
Send email | See description in the Email to invoice field above. |
E-invoice | Here you choose OIOUBL or PEPPOL - (no one sends it even if there is a GLN number) |
GLN number | Insert the debtor's GLN/EAN number here to create an OIOUBL invoice for the GLN/EAN number. If the debtor does not have a GLN/EAN number, but the CVR number field is filled in, the OIOUBL invoice will be created with the CVR number instead of the GLN/EAN number. Read more about the possibility of creating OIOUBL/EAN invoices here. |
Balance method | By default, the field is filled with the value Open item, which means that the debtor's entries can be offset when posting payments etc. If Balance is selected, items from the oldest balance are offset without regard to whether a payment from the payer is payment for a single or multiple invoices. This means that when Balance is selected here, it is in principle not possible to make offsets. In that case, only a total sum of the items is shown under open items. Read more about offsets here. |
Revenue account | If necessary, select a revenue account to which the revenue for this debtor should be posted. If the field is not filled in, the revenue account will be retrieved from the debtor and/or product groups instead. Read more about the debtor groups here. If this field is filled in, this account is also suggested as a counter account in the accounting journals. Read more here. |
Fixed-text | The fixed text will be suggested when posting and using physical attachments (Inbox). |
Invoice account | Select another debtor in this field. It will then be this debtor that receives the invoices. For example, it could be a local store that receives the goods, but the customer's head office should receive the invoice. When setting up preferences under Company/Maintenance/Preferences, in the Account on stock transactions field, you can choose whether goods statistics should be visible on the debtor receiving the goods (Delivery account) or the debtor receiving the invoices (Invoice account). Sales price | Select which sales price from the item card the debtor should belong to Read more about sales prices here... |
Price list | Select a customer price list in this field if you want special prices to apply to the current debtor. Read more about customer price lists here. |
Shipping and handling | Select one of the shipping methods you have set up, e.g. PostNord. The field only appears if you have checked the Shipping field under Company/Maintenance/Turn functions on/off. Shipping is part of the Order module. Read more about shipping here. |
Delivery condition | Select one of the delivery terms that you have set up. E.g. free shipping or similar. The field only appears if you have checked the Shipping field under Company/Maintenance/Turn functions on/off. Shipping is part of the Order module. Read more about delivery terms here. |
Layout group | Assign the debtor to a layout group if you want a special invoice layout or similar to be used for this particular debtor. Read more about layout groups here. |
Item name group | Assign the debtor to an item name group if you want special item numbers and item texts to be printed on invoices for this particular debtor. Read more about item name groups here. |
Prices including VAT | If you want the prices to be inclusive of VAT for the selected debtor, uncheck the field Prices including VAT. This means that the selected debtor gets the prices from the selected price group or price list displayed as prices including VAT. If you have debtors with both prices including and excluding VAT, you should have at least two Sales prices created on the product card and select the desired sales price 1, 2 or 3 on the debtor. |
Our account number | Enter your account number with your debtor, if applicable. This is the number your company is registered with in the debtor's system. |
Last invoice | The field is updated with the date an invoice was last posted to the customer. |
Delivery address | |
Delivery name etc. | In the delivery fields, you can enter a fixed delivery address for the debtor. It is also possible to create different delivery addresses from the debtor overview under the Delivery addresses button. Read more here. |
Delivery ID | The field is used for OIOUBL, i.e. electronic ean invoicing. The value from this field is stored in the OIOUBL field 'Delivery.DeliveryLocation.ID'. Read more about OIOUBL here. |

Packaging end user | Select whether the debtor's packaging ends up in a Household or if it is for Business |
Dimension | |
Dimensions field | If you have created dimensions under Finance/Maintenance/Dimension, e.g. Department, Carrier and Purpose, these fields can also be viewed on the individual debtor, so you can select which department etc. the debtor belongs to. |
Description of buttons

Add to cart | Select this button if you want to create/add a new debtor to your debtor directory. If you select Add/Copy, a new debtor will be created as a copy of the debtor you have selected when the button is selected. |
Edit | Select this button to open the debtor card of the selected debtor so you can view/edit this debtor's details. |
Show details | Select this button to open the debtor card of the selected debtor so that you can view this debtor's details without being able to change them. |
Refresh | Updates the information on the screen, such as the date of the last invoice, if changes have been made to the displayed data after the screen has been opened. |
Filter | Use the Filter button if you want to filter your debtors so that you only see them in a specific country or similar. You can read more about the filter function here. |
Layout | Layout allows you to add more fields to the screen, save, delete, edit or retrieve saved layouts. Read more about the options under Layout here. |
Contact us | Create and maintain contacts for the selected debtor. Read more about contacts here. |
Shipping addresses | Create and maintain delivery address information for the selected debtor. The button only appears if delivery addresses are enabled under Company/Maintenance/Disable functions. You can read more about delivery addresses here. |
Customer supplier/ item number | Here you can see the special customer item numbers and/or customer item descriptions defined on the item name group associated with the customer. Read more about the item name group feature here. |
Create mandates | Here you can create mandates related to supplier or payment services. The button only appears if AutoBanking is enabled under Company/Maintenance/Turn features on/off. Read more about Leverandør-/betalingsservice here. |
Sale prices and discounts | If the Price list field on the debtor is filled in, you can use this button to view and maintain the prices listed on the debtor's price list. Read more about customer price lists here. |
Follow up | View and add follow-up activities on the selected debtor. The button only appears if CRM is enabled under Company/Maintenance/Turn features on/off. Read more about follow-up activities here. |
Budget | Allows you to create a budget for your customers. The budget must be enabled under Company/Turn features On/Off. If you create budgets for your customers and specify the employee, these can be seen in the pop-up menu on an employee. There is a report to compare budgets against realized figures, read more here .... The realized figures are read from the invoice header. |
Attachments | Attach a note or document to the selected debtor. Read more about attachments here. |
Client information (Client information) | The menu item only appears for Univisors. Read more here. |
Postings | See all entries in the selected debtor account. You can also double-click on a debtor to see the entries on the debtor. |
Open items | Shows all open items on the selected debtor, so you can offset open items against each other if necessary. Read more about offsets here. |
Account statement | Shows the bank statement for the selected debtor for a desired period. Read more about debtor bank statements here. |

Lager-Transactions | Shows an overview of all the goods/services the selected customer has purchased including the date purchased, price etc. Read more about stock transactions here. |
Pivot table | View a pivot table with the selected debtor's information. Read more about this feature here. |
Log | View a screenshot with a log of which OIOUBLs have been sent to the customer and when. The log also shows who has been specified as recipient, cc and bcc on the emails sent from Uniconta to the customer. Under development. |
