Project types are the project's "chart of accounts" and no entries can be posted to projects without specifying a type.
In other words, the species are a kind of subdivision of costs and revenues on the projects.
Project types are created and maintained under Project/Maintenance/Project type .
Costs and revenues can be viewed by type in connection with pre- and post-calculations on the project.

Account and Counter account | In the fields Account and Counter account fields, you can enter special accounts to be used when posting work in progress. The counter account is usually an account in the status called 'Work in progress' and the account is usually an account called 'Costs transferred to project' or 'Expected project revenue', depending on whether work in progress is booked at cost or sales value. If the fields are not Account and Counter account fields are not filled in here on the project types, the account specified on the project group is used instead. |
Project types
For each project type, select a project type. The type indicates what the type is used for and also determines how an automatic posting of work in progress will be posted, as the posting setup refers to these project type types.

Regulation | Adjustments are used to write up or write down the value of the project so that the recorded registrations are equal to the invoiced value. Adjustments can be made in the draft and during invoicing. See "Create order". It is important to create a type of this type and mark it as "default". Adjustments are also used to carry forward an amount that is not invoiced here and now. If a dedicated " Project type " for this, you can select "Carry forward to" in the "Adjustment" screen, which can be opened from " Invoice proposal ". The amount can then be "moved" to the same or another project, which can then be subsequently invoiced if possible. |
Collection of lines during billing/aggregation
In each project, you can define whether the system should automatically aggregate lines on the invoice proposals created from the project module and how they should be aggregated.
Art on account
At least one project type with the Aconto type must be created if you want to create invoices on account for the projects. If work in progress is booked by 'Sales value', a product group and a product number must also be created, and the product number must then be used on the invoice lines of the invoice on account. In the product group for on account, select a status account, e.g. with the name 'On account invoices projects'. If work in progress is posted by 'Cost value' or work in progress is not posted automatically, you only need to create an item group and an item number if you want the revenue on invoices on account to be posted to a special account in the chart of accounts. The item number for down payment is entered in the field Item number for invoicing field on the on-account type.
