Under
Accounts receivable/Reports/Account statements , you can print account statements with transactions for one or more customers.
Bank statements can also be printed using the
Bank statement button on the ribbon in the Debtor register under
Debtor/Debtor. If the account statement is created from the debtor register, a filter is automatically applied to the selected debtor when the
Account statement button is selected.
Fill in the delimiter fields and select the
Search button to generate a list of customers that the system recommends you create a bank statement for.

Search button |
Select the Search button to generate a list of customers that match the values specified in the delimiter fields and those defined in the Filter debtors button. |
Filter debtors |
With this button, filters can be added to the values in the Accounts receivable register.
Example:
For example, if you only want to generate bank statements for debtors that are not blocked, you can create this filter
Blocked is a yes/no field. No/no checkmark = 0 and Yes/checkmark = 1.
I.e. if you only want to print bank statements for those that are blocked, you would simply replace the 0 in Filter by with a 1 instead.
TIP! For example, if you do not want to generate statements for debtors without an invoice email address, you can insert the field Invoice email and filter by !=Null.
=Null means all with zero values/blank.
!=Null means all values different from zero values/blank. |
Clear filter |
If you have created filters that you want to reset, you can select the Clear filter button. |
Physical voucher |
Select the Physical voucher button or press F7 to, for example, display the invoice to the customer if you have placed the cursor on a line under a debtor with an invoice posted in Uniconta.
If necessary, use the Expand row button to expand the entries for a customer in the overview. |
Entries on vouchers |
Select this button if you want to see the financial entries that have been posted on the entry you have placed the cursor on. |
Open items |
Select this button if you want to see open debtor records on the debtor you have placed the cursor on. This is useful, for example, if you see that there is an open invoice and a payment that should have been offset, you can use this button to jump to the open items on the debtor and offset the two items. Remember to select the Search button again afterwards to update the bank statement records. |
Layout |
Save, retrieve, edit or delete a layout, i.e. the setup regarding the order of fields etc. in the screenshot |
Send as email |
To send account statements to all debtors, you can select the Send as e-mail button.
You have the option to send to All customers that appear in the search, or you can select Marked lines, i.e. the customers that you have marked with a check mark in the field to the left of the Account field. Example of "Marking" a debtor: The account statement is sent to the contact(s) on the debtor who have a check mark in the Account statement field.
Contact persons are defined using the Contacts button in the Debtor file under Debtor/Debtor.
If no contact persons have been created with this setup on the debtor, the account statement is sent to the email address in the Email to invoice field on the debtor in the Debtor file.Tip! You can check the checkbox in the column header in the column to the left of the Account field to select all items in your overview, and then uncheck the debtors you do not want to create a bank statement for. The text in the actual email that is created, as well as the subject header etc. can also be attached to a file. This can be defined under Debtor/Maintenance/Email Setup. |
Send email from Outlook |
You can also send emails with the bank statement using this button. However, the email is only created in Outlook and you must manually select to send the email in Outlook. If you want to send bank statements in bulk, we recommend using the Send as email button instead. |
All fields |
Select this button to display all the fields of the debtor you have selected in the list and unfolded. Optionally, select the Unfold row button to unfold the debtor's records. |

Note! You can subsequently deselect individual customers you do not want to create bank statements for using the checkbox in the overview. Read more about this above under the description of the Send as email button on the ribbon. |
Ascending |
If this field is checked, the oldest entries on the individual debtor will be shown at the top, i.e. if there are three entries on a debtor, dated in January, February and March respectively, the value in January will be shown at the top.
If this field is unchecked, the value from March will be shown at the top instead. |
Omit empty |
If the Omit empty checkbox is selected, the debtors that have had no movement in the selected period will not be shown in the list when you select Search. |

Overdue only |
All
If All is selected, all customer entries in the selected date range will be displayed. Open only
If you select Open only, only the records that are open in the selected date range are shown.
Note that only records that are still open but posted in the selected date range are shown.
The system does not store any information about when an item has been settled, so it is not possible to see which items were open at a given time. Only overdue
If you select Only overdue , only the debtors that have overdue items in the period are shown.
Note that if a customer has a prime balance on the from date, some or all of which is due, but new invoices in the selected period are not due, the debtor will not be included in the overview if you select Only due. |
Page break |
If Page break is checked, a page break is inserted between each debtor if the internal account statement is printed. |
Show transcript |
In View statement select either Internal or External statement.
External is the bank statement that is normally sent to customers. The Internal statement contains more information - intended for internal use in your company. External is the nice version for the customer. Tap the Printer icon in the top right corner to see how the statement will look when printed. |
View currency |
You can also check the Show currency box to display this on a printout.
Note! There are two different bank statement layouts. One is used when the Show currency field is unchecked and the other is used when the Show currency field is checked. |
Example of delimiting and sending bank statements
Go to
Debtor/Report/Account statement.
Click
Search in the menu to search for all debtors that have a balance.
Delimit as far as possible via the bounding boxes.
See description of the bounding boxes further up in the article.
Click
Search the ribbon when the desired boundaries are selected.
If you want to filter on information from the debtor card, e.g. if you do not want to create bank statements for blocked debtors, select the
Filter debtors button on the ribbon and select the
Blocked field and the value 0 (0=not blocked/1=blocked).
For example, if you have created a custom field "Receive bank statement?" on the debtor card, you can filter on this.
Only the debtors that should receive bank statements will be selected.
Read about how to create a custom
field here...
From
Filter debtors, you can choose from all field names on your debtor card.
Below this, a created (custom) field, 'Receive bank statement?
If the value in the field - on the debtor card - is checked with a check mark, the value in the 'Filter by' field must be 1.
If you instead want to select debtors that are not checked with a check mark, the value in 'Filter by' must be 0.

Click the
Search button on the ribbon when the desired filter is set. All debtors containing the selected search criteria will now be displayed.
It is possible to make a further delimitation in your list. This is done by using the small check box placed in front of all debtors shown in the overview.
If you want to select all, you can click the small box at the top to select all lines.
Here you can also select one or more lines below.
If you use
Send as e-mail from the menu, a message box appears asking if you want to send to all or only the selected lines.
'All' means everyone in the list, and 'Selected lines' means the lines that are checked in the check box.
Links to invoices etc. on bank statements
On the external bank statement layout, it is possible to display a clip next to invoices so that customers who receive the bank statement can retrieve the missing invoices themselves.
Please note! The link is only active on invoices that are less than 3 months old.
It is also possible to display a MobilePay icon so customers can click the MobilePay link to pay the current invoice via MobilePay.
