Client/server tracking is an activity history in Uniconta that contains operations performed in Uniconta for at least 6 months in the past.
Use "Filter" to sort the history and "Layout" to add fields you have removed yourself.
You can filter by End time, Quantity, Company id, Mode, Operation, Program modules, Return value, End time, Size, Uid (User id) and Duration.
Client Server Tracking can be found under either:
Company/Maintenance/Client/Server Tracking
or for administrators
Administrator/Client/Server Tracking
The sum or number of Server calls a user makes will then be counted here.
In the sum bar at the bottom, the sum is set to the selected field. This could be the Username field or perhaps the End time.
In the screenshot below, the selected user has made 7 server calls, based on the delimiter set up on the Filter button.
In this case, the filter was set up with End time value = "10-02-2020..."
So the wish was to see server calls made from 10-02-2020 onwards for the selected user.
Note that the sum/number of Server calls has nothing to do with the numbers in the Number field/column.
Uniconta A/S considers a CPU usage of over 3,000 seconds per month to be excessive CPU usage.
Read about the prices for excessive consumption here.
How to use Client/Server Tracking
Client/Server Jump is empty when opened. This is due to the large amounts of data and you need to start generating a filter before you can see this data.- Click Filter to select the data you want to see.
- Click + to add a field name, such as Company ID, and fill in with the Company ID.
- Click OK to generate a search

- You can now see the recent history list
- Operation Name, tells what type of run it is. For example, "Create Company" when a user has created an account.
- Way tells what table an operation has been performed on.

Excessive server consumption.
According to our license terms, Uniconta A/S may decide to bill excessive server usage. This is done by measuring an account's consumption of CPU time. CPU time is the time a user loads a CPU. In client/server tracking you can read this CPU time. In the Duration column, the number of milliseconds that a job has taken to complete in Uniconta is noted. To see how much CPU time is being used, you can, for example, limit it to a month and the current company. Then the Total field can be set on the "sum bar" at the bottom of the Client/Server Tracking, under the Duration field, to see how many milliseconds you have worked in Uniconta in that month.
