Templates can be used when the same fields need to be filled in the same way every time.
Templates are available on several fill-in screens, including the one below, and the same creation principle is used to create the templates on all screens.
Then select the Templates button on the ribbon and select Save as:
You then enter a name for the template. When you save a template, you can check the Default box if you want this template to be retrieved automatically when you create new debtors.
Note! Not all types of templates will show the Default field. In that case, the templates must be downloaded as described below.
- Quick invoice
- Sales and purchase order
- Special offers
- Debtor groups
- Order groups
- Merchandise
- Invoice proposal lines
Example - Create template for debtors
Here you need to create a new German debtor where you want to fill in certain fields with the same values for all new German debtors. In this example, you have chosen to fill in the marked fields on all new German debtor creations:

Example - Create template on invoice proposal lines
For example, if you have some invoice proposal lines on project invoices that you want to use over and over again, you can create a template to avoid entering the same lines again and again. You create a template as follows:- Open the invoice proposal lines screen e.g. via Project/Invoice proposal/Invoice proposal and the Invoice proposal lines button on the ribbon
- Enter the lines you want to save as a template. You decide whether it is with/without item number, with/without prices, etc.
- When you have entered all the lines to be part of the template, select the Templates/Save as... button on the ribbon
- Enter a desired name for the template and select the OK button
- If you don't need the lines from the template right now, you can simply delete these lines again in the invoice proposal lines screen using the Delete line button on the ribbon. You will then download the template as described below when you need it.
Download a template
If you have created a template in a screenshot and would like to download it, here's how:- Open the current screen, e.g. the invoice proposal lines
- Select the Templates/Load button on the ribbon
- Click on the template you want to download and the lines from the template will be loaded to the screen and it is now possible to edit them.
Edit a template
If you want to edit a template, here's how to do it:- Open the current screen, e.g. the invoice proposal lines
- Select the Templates/Load button on the ribbon
- Make a note of the name of the template you want to edit
- Click on the template you want to edit to load the lines to the screen
- Correct the lines, e.g. the text on the lines or similar
- Select the Templates/Save as... button on the ribbon
- If the template is to replace the old template you just downloaded, enter the same name for the template as before. In this case, the template will be overwritten. You can also choose to enter a new name for the template so that you have two templates available for future use. If you want to delete any of the templates at some point, you can do so as described below.
Delete a template
You can delete created templates like this:- Open the screen where you want to delete a template
- Select the Templates/Delete button
- Select the template you want to delete and select the Delete button.
