Your data is automatically backed up in Uniconta, which is located in the cloud. But you can store a local backup on your own drive at the same time.

How to make a local backup
- Open Tools/Localbackup.
- Set Field delimiter: This is the character that separates data field by field in the file that is output and saved as local backup. It is recommended to use a semicolon as commas are already included in amounts.
- Click the Local backup button in the ribbon to start the backup.
- Select the destination for the backup. You can choose from all the destinations linked to your computer: locally on your PC (not recommended), server, external disk/USB, OneDrive, Dropbox etc.
- Specify a file name for the backup. For example, BackupUniconta"date". This allows you to manage your backups by date. The next time you make a local backup, Uniconta will remember which drive and connector you used last time. If you use external disk/USB, it is recommended to switch between 2 or more in case one of them fails.
- Click Local backup to start the backup:
