Create a user
(Note: A subscription only has meaning if there is a company associated with the user)
- Select Administrator / All users
- Tap Add user and fill in the relevant information
- The user type can be Standard or Server:
- A Standard user can be assigned different rights and roles.
- A Server user has API and integration access. Note! Multiple simultaneous logins are not allowed on server users.
NOTE: An Accountant and Reseller user must be set up additionally. See at the bottom of this page.
- The role is selected after creating the user. A user can have a role as Accountant, Reseller or Standard. CompanyAdmin is not used.
- Multiple active logins on the same ID
- Here a user can be locked so that users can only be logged in one place at a time. Read more under license condition.
- Delay time
- Over 5,000 server calls per day, Uniconta reduces the speed of API calls.
- This reduction can also be manually set to 1 second (per call) by checking this box.
- Extended server call
- If a server user is used and this server uses more than 5,000 calls per day, delay can be avoided if this field is set. There is a price for extended server calls, up to 75,000 calls per day.
The limitation does not apply to the Uniconta converter program
- NOTE: You must log out and log in again with the user to enable "Extended server call".
- Note that the warning message: "Uniconta is running at a reduced traffic rate as you have exceeded your free traffic to the server" indicates that the limit of 5,000 server calls has been reached.
- If the code repeatedly exceeds 5,000 calls, Uniconta automatically ticks the extended server call box, resulting in a bill. Read more here.
- Tap Save and select Yes to grant the user access to the company.
- Select the company and press OK.
- Assign user rights and press OK.
- When selecting Full access for Owner, the user becomes the owner of the selected company
- You will then be given the option to create a subscription for the user. Press Yes if you want to create a subscription.
- Enter relevant information and tap Save subscription.
- In Owner, enter the user who is the Owner of the company.
A user has now been created with a subscription for an account.
Change subscriptions
- Select Administrator / All companies
- Search for the company name
- Select the company in the list of companies, if any, and press "Go to owner"
- Select the user in the list and click "Subscribe"
- Change the subscription information and press "Save subscription". Read more here
Create Reseller User (Reseller)
After a user has been created as described above, you can change the role to reseller by
- Go to Administrator/All users
- Select the user
- It is now possible to select 'Reseller' as 'Role'
- ATTENTION! A reseller never pays for access to Uniconta, but can use all facilities. For example, a reseller can develop without the normal restrictions of users. This means that a reseller can have an extended server call, create accounts for development on the operating server or possibly on our test server. Please note that data on the test server is sometimes reset.
Create Univisor User (Accountant)
After creating a user
, an Accountant user MUST be assigned to a Univisor agreement. This is done by selecting 'Set as' in the "All users" menu.

Then select the accountant that the Accountant user should be linked to in the list. NOTE: Subscriptions will not work correctly if this is not done.

In addition, you can select Accountant in Role and Entry in User type to get a user in Project and Timesag that can enter hours, register documents and materials via Uniconta or Uniconta Employee App.
Delete User
An Administrator can delete a user in
Administrator/All Users by clicking 'Edit user'.
Then the user can be deleted or blocked by changing the status box from 'Open' to 'Blocked' or 'Deleted'.
And note that if a user is the "Owner" of an account, they cannot be deleted.
