Adding interest
To add interest to ledger accounts set up under Interest groups, you need to create these under General Ledger/Audit activities/Add interest.
When running interest rates, you are presented with the following popup window:
Description of fields
Below is a description of the fields that can be seen during the interest run

| From date | Start date for interest calculation |
| To date | End date for interest calculation |
| Journal | Day |
| Enumerated text | Enumerated texts |
When you press OK, the calculated interest for all active interest groups will be transferred to the specified journal.
