Production orders can be created and finalized under Lager/Production/Production/Production orders.
The purpose of production orders is to be able to plan productions and finalize them during production.
Note! Production menu items are not visible unless the Production module is enabled under Company/Maintenance/Turn features on/off. Read more about this here.
Here you can control how the finished product is placed in stock. The item can be put "in production" and "in stock" before it is finalized. You can add quantities to stock on an ongoing basis and you can also control the storage location. All the same functions that you know from items ordered in the purchasing module.
Create production
- To create a production, select the Add button on the ribbon.
- Select the item to be produced from the item number list in the Item number field.
Note! This must be an item number of type Production BOM.
- Fill in how many quantities of the item to be produced in the Quantity field
- In the Inventory management field, select whether the item should be registered as e.g. ordered in the inventory module.
- The production number is automatically assigned from the number series filled in under Accounts receivable/Maintenance/Number series, but can also be filled in manually in the Production number field.
- The delivery date is entered in the Delivery date field. If "Update delivery date" is selected under Company/Preferences, the delivery date is calculated based on the delivery time under "Lager level". Read more here. If "Update Delivery Date" is not set, the date entered here is used.
- Select the Save & Create lines button to create production lines with the sub-goods etc. needed to create the production. In the prompt that appears, you can choose whether the sub-goods should be reserved in the inventory module. Read more about the production lines here.
