You can find Budget in the menu under Project/Project
Budget
Create the budget by selecting the Budget button on the ribbon.
Add budget. NOTE: Check Current for the budget realized numbers to compare with.
Project: Budget lines
On the budget lines, you can use item numbers, employees, salary types and dimensions. There is also an overview of contribution margin and contribution margin for the line itself and for the entire budget.
If BOMs are used in the budget, they can be unfolded for use in item allocation. Read more here.
Add period
Here, filtered entries can add "Days, months, or years" to Date.
This is used for projecting budget items, for example, if you want to change all displayed items by +365 days to carry the items forward to the next budget year.
Number of days/months/years are added to the date of each row.

Principle | Total One budget line is created with all the hours placed on the start dateDistributed Divides the task into x number of budget lines by number of hours per day (entered in the Hours field), e.g. if you have estimated the task at 50 hours and entered 8 hours per day in the dialog, 6 days with 8 hours and a single day with 2 hours will be created. All budget lines are created with the start date and can then be moved in the Budget section. Norm hours Divides the task into x number of budget lines according to the number of norm hours on the employee per day, for example, if you have estimated the task at 50 hours. The standard time is 6 hours per day, so 8 days with 6 hours and a single day with 2 hours will be created. All budget lines are created with the start date and can then be moved in the Budget section. |

Set current Budget Group
In planning and calendar planning as well as in the report project balances / Art, "Current" project budget is always used. It is therefore possible here to change the active budget group to another by an action.
Lock Anchor Budget
A copy of the budget is made here, which is then saved with a new "Budget header". An anchor budget can then be used as a comparison in planning and to create an invoice proposal in Project that is similar to the original pre-calculation.
