Uniconta screens can be customized in numerous ways. Here we present some of the possibilities.
Layouts after an update. Load More here
The right to save layouts for the user can be turned off under Company/User rights/Administer users/Menu .
Videos about layouts
The following videos are available for layouts:
- Searching, filtering, grouping, subtotals and screenshots
- Color formatting, filtering, save/retrieve layouts and more
Field order
In almost all screens, fields can be selected and deselected. This is done under "Layout" in the top menu or by "Right-clicking" on the Column header.
You can also change the field order on, for example, debtor and item cards (i.e. screens that only contain information about one customer, one item, etc.)
Here, change the order by selecting the Layout/Edit button.
Select a field or box you want to move and drag it to where you want it to go.
Remember to Select the Layout/Save Layout button to Save the Change when the screen is like you want.
Note! It is a good idea to export your layout before updating Uniconta if you want to make sure you have it afterwards.
Add field
Fields that you have previously removed and/or fields that are not shown standard can be added to the screens by selecting the button Layout/Edit. button or by Selecting the shortcut Alt+F . From the Fields overview, Marked a Field or alternatively the Field can be "Deducted" with the mouse into the column header bar and placed where desired.
Hide all but this one
If you want to hide all fields in the list shown above except one, you can select "Hide all but this one".
View All
If you want to hide all but one of the fields in the list shown above, you can select the "Show all" function. To restore the default page layout, exit the screen and open it again.
Other fields
If you want to Select fields from other related Tables, you can select the button Layout/Other fields instead or you can "right-click" on a column header and select Other fields.
With Other fields Other fields from other related Tables can be viewed in the Field list. Click the mouse on the arrow next to the map name from which you want to insert Fields. All fields are then Viewed under the map name, and you can now Marked the fields you want to display in the current screen. When the Fields are marked, select the button with the arrow in the center of the screen and the fields will move to the Right of the screen. Select the button End and the Fields are now added on this screen.
Note! No data can be entered in this field. The values in the fields are for information and filtering purposes only, so you can see what you have selected in this field in the corresponding index.
Below is an example where the fields with the debtor's balance in DKK, currency and currency code are shown on the debtor entry screen.
Other fields can also be added on dropdowns by right-clicking in the column header and Select 'Other fields'. ATTENTION! The 'Find Record' Column (under 'Other fields' - TableValue) must be set in order to search the field.
Custom fields in custom tables that reference related tables
By default, Uniconta cannot retrieve content from custom fields in custom tables that reference related tables.
Example of an example
Table "Properties"
Fields "Property name"
The "DebtorOrder" table has its own field called "Property"
The property field is filled in on DebtorOrder and transferred to "DebtorInvoice"
"DebtorInvoice" can be seen in "Warehouse transactions" under Debtor/Reports/Warehouse transactions.
Due to the structure, data is retrieved in the "Property" field when the screen is opened.
To retrieve data in this field, a layout must be saved with the "Property" field set to Layout.
If you want a larger date range than the default, this can be set under "Filter" in the top menu.
For example, a three-year dynamic filter can be set as follows.
Remove field
Click on the field in the column header and "drag" it out of the screen with the mouse. The field will end up in the field overview and can always be reinserted.
Customize column width
Columns can adjust in width. This can be done automatically or manually.
Autofit columns
Select Autofit columns to adjust the active column. Parts of the Header and Content may be hidden by this Operation.
Selecting "Auto adjust columns" will automatically adjust all columns on a group. Parts of the header and content can be hidden by this operation.

Same layout as your colleague
If you want to use the same layout as your colleague, you have the following options:
-
If your colleague is set as the owner of the accounts in Uniconta, they can create a layout in a screenshot and when this layout is saved, your colleague can check the All users field (see screenshot above).
When you then log back into Uniconta and open the screenshot that your colleague created, you will have "inherited" the screenshot layout.
If you don't inherit it, it's either because your colleague is not the owner of the accounts and/or you have already created a custom layout in the current screen. Try deleting your layout and exiting and re-entering the screen to see if you have inherited your colleague's layout. - Your colleague can select the button in a screenshot Layout/Export layout and save the layout. Your colleague should then give you the file with the saved layout. You should then open the same screen on your end, and you can then select the Layout/Load layout and point to the layout you received on a file from your colleague.
-
Have your colleague save layout changes in all screens where special setups are required. At the same time, get your colleague's Uniconta user ID, i.e. the username they log in with.
You then login to Uniconta with your own login, select the little man icon in the top right corner and choose My profile . Here you select the button Copy setup from Other User's Options and enter your colleague's User name.
You automatically inherit your colleague's layouts in all screens.
Note! This option is best for brand new employees who don't already have their own layouts, as their own layouts will be overwritten by the colleague's layout when using this option.
Are you experiencing issues with layouts?
Fields cannot be found when selecting Layout/Edit.
Sometimes fields cannot be found under Edit. This may be because a Layout was saved before a new field was added to the Uniconta database.
A saved layout does not automatically have new fields included in the layout, so you must reset your layout by clicking 'Delete layout' under 'Layout'.
Now you need to close the page and open it again. Uniconta's default layout is now the layout shown, and the new field is included.
Load more about how a Delete layout. here.
On the default layout, everything is set and therefore it will work when there is no saved layout. But a saved layout is the original layout that the user has saved.
Values cannot be entered and/or selected in fields in a screen.
This can be caused by a broken Layout. It is recommended to Delete your layout and see if you can in the Default layout. If you can, adjust the Default Layout so that it is like you want it to be.
Location and size of screenshots
In Uniconta, you can determine how a specific window should be displayed/placed at startup. Select the button Layout/Settings for the window:
Select :
- Docking/Positions: Next Tab Page shows the Window as a normal tab in the Top
- Docking/Position: Left, Right, Top or Bundle shows the window as half a screen where Position is selected to.
-
Popup window: The window is Viewed "inside" the Uniconta form from.
Fields in the Size section determine the Width and Height of the window.
By default, a PopUp appears in the bottom right corner, so as not to overshadow more significant data "inside" the Uniconta shape. -
External window: The window is Viewed "outside" the Uniconta shape.
Fields in the Size section determine the Width and Height of the window.
By default, an External appears in the bottom right corner, so as not to overshadow more significant data "inside" the Uniconta shape.
Location and size of Dashboards in Windows clients
Almost the same functions as above can be used in the Dashboard. Pressing the "Key" brings up the same options for Locations.
NOTE: Please note that the setup below will apply to all dashboards for all users.

You can also right-click on a random Column Header in your screenshot and Select View Filter By Field to enter filter Values for multiple Columns in the same screenshot:
![]()
Selecting Contains, for example, means that part of the Text that the Filter should contain can be written. For example, if you write "Invoices", you will find at least all places that say "Invoices".
Show standard [Show "Filter By Field"] can be set under the User's Profile. Load More here .
Highlight values with colors (Conditional formatting)
Right-click on the Column header and select Formatting:
Here you can choose whether the screen lines should be displayed with different formatting, e.g. colors, depending on the values in a specific field.
Here is an example of amounts greater than DKK 800:
If [Apply format to entire row] is checked, the entire row is "colored" otherwise only the conditional field is "colored".
The result is displayed like this:
Jump to Master table
All fields that relate to another table can be jumped to the main chart of accounts with F6. This means, for example, that if you select the Account field in an entry list, you can jump from this field to the Chart of accounts with F6.
