Why are my 'Total' accounts 'Total assets' and 'Total liabilities' not equal?

This is often because your 'Total' calculation in your 'Total liabilities' account has not been set up to include your net profit for the period. 

Check the 'Sum' calculation in your 'Total liabilities' account.
